my periods are usually very regular! 29 days, at 6pm. they are not too painful, i used to hurt for about a day. But for the past 4months i had REALLY painful for a few days. i couldnt walk hardly!! and they were really heavy!
Then i just came on this month. i was a week late, a 34 day cyle!! and im not heavy at all! lighter than i have ever been!! and i only needed to take painkillers once as apose to the most i possibly can wit hundred sof other things to try and help!!!!
should i be thankful that its got easier, or worried that something is wrong!

EssexBabe, you had unprotected sex 5 months ago and for the past four months you have had heavy and painful periods. Maybe I am seeing a link that doesn't exist but you may have had an ectopic pregnancy (e.g.) and not known.
I am not a girl, so feel free to correct me, and I don't want to worry you but is this a normal thing to happen for some girls? I suggest you see your doctor about this.
Never mind, I'm sure it was nothing.
Take care xx
Take care
i had really really bad period pains - they were so bad i couldnt walk and sometimes i would throw up.
<IMG alt="image" alt="image" SRC="eek.gif" border="0">
the doc told me i had a condition known as primary dysmenorreoh ( i cant spell it tho'!!!
<IMG alt="image" alt="image" SRC="biggrin.gif" border="0"> )
basically what it is, is that there is a hormone imbalance, and the uterus releases too many progestoglandins which makes it contract as if you are in the early stages of labour!!! <IMG alt="image" alt="image" SRC="eek.gif" border="0">
my doc started me off on strong painkillers but they didnt work for me, so i am now on the pill, and it has worked a treat!
so i would def see a doc cos the condition is more common than u think and it can pop up at any time
hope this helps
