nah, I don't think so- I get that whenever I use Tampax brand and stopped altogether because I thought what's the point.

Even when I'm hardly bleeding, it still comes through. I reckon some other brands must be better.

I use super ones and change them lots. I also wear a panty pad, you kow the little ones in case of any leaks. Try lilets or a different brand.

i get that prob - it all leaks out then when i go to change the tampon, it has hardly absorbed anything! grrrr
i tried changing the angle i put it in - a bit weird , yes, but it worked
or u could try another brand, i sometimes use those panty liners as well cos they save the knickers from massive stains!
    hope this helps

It could be a particularly heavy flow this time, then, maybe try using a tampon designed for heavier flows?

*isnt sure as he doesnt have the problem lmao*

Try using a pad with tampon so that that way it wont stain your pants or whatever. Sometimes the period is so heavy that a tampon just doesnt work.

Hi, Here are some ideas about leaky tampons.
1 I hear Lillets have an extra super plus one now, for very heavy flows

2 If it leaks past when the tampon has not fully absorbed, then perhaps you are putting it too high up. Put it just high enough to be comfortable.

3 There is a rubber cup called The Keeper. I tried this quite a while ago and it is brilliant. More at www.menses.co.uk
It sounds expensive but it lasts for YEARS and saves a fortune in the long run.
