Boxing Day Breakfasts...

Looking at Rubberskin's "All Alone" thread it seems that we all eat weird things for breakfast this morning.

Me? I had sticky toffee pavlova.

You?

    Cereal.
But the concept of "Boxing day" doesn't exist here, it's just the second day of Christmas. Which is a holiday and no one needs to work, just like Christmas day itself.

Quality Street, followed by a bacon double cheeseburger.

Boxing day is a weird day generally though, football on a weekday afternoon :eek2: :thumb:

It's the same here. Everything happens on the 24th, then there's usually some family dinners on the 25th, and at my home we just enjoy a day off on the 26th (Second day of Christmas we call it).

Didn't stop me from having an unhealthy breakfast though. :yum: Don't know if it has an English word, but it's rice, cream, bananas and chocolate.
