Best present of all was having Dad out of hospital for christmas, but in material things I did very well..

Aw that's lovely, makes a huge difference to Christmas having all your loved ones in their rightful place :)

I have done unbelievably well for myself today already (well technically last night for part of it, but who gives a fuck about semantics eh), and the only person I have seen so far is the other half. It is highly possible that I am the happiest girl alive, over the moon doesn't even come close:

    4hwgj1t.jpg

    473193l.jpg

As if you need to top that, he also got me the most comfortable and snazzy new bike seat I could have asked for, beautiful cashmere socks I've been ogling for months AND the biggest box of Marrons Glacés I have ever seen in my life. Full marks! :D:D:D :yippe: :yippe:

Off to the parentals in a little while to do the old Santa routine and probably receive fifteen pairs of Wolford tights as that was all I could think of when asked what I wanted. Ha.

    Hehehehehehe. I'm a happy girl :)

My Dad got me the Radley handbag that I've been wanting ALL YEAR (which is now out of season, he secretely got it half way through the year when it was still in season so I could have it). I couldn't afford it as it was £125.

He also got the make-up kit that I've also been wanting all year but yet again, couldn't afford it as it was almost £100. Its a Ruby and Millie set and you can't even get it in the shops anymore. Its fucking amazing. I love their make-up so to get SO much of it makes me very happy. It has everything in it. Absolutely everything.

I got some lovely perfume which yet again, I could never afford :) It came in a set with other stuff in it.

Lots of chocolate (I'm bound to put on weight before I go back to University)

A rotating mini bar which fits 4 bottles on it and measures out shots and stuff. Fucking cool and perfect for the likes of moi

A really posh pen and pen pencil set! They seem really expensive as they came in a groovy box and they have pretty pink crystals on them! My Mum has paid for insurance on them!!!

Lots of jewellery, very cool jewellery infact.

And a few other things but what they are isn't springing to mind at the minute! I'm very tired :)
I wasn't expecting much, if anything this year so I'm really happy.

    Briggi!

Although the first photo didn't show up for me at first, just the one of the flowers, and I looked fucking everywhere for the ring!

    Anyhoo, I got:

all the flumps in the world (4 separate lots from different people! Ha - I love my flumps)
perfume (it's one of the Paris Hilton ones, which offends me a little, but think I can get past it cause it will make me smell SO nice)
a haircut and general generosity and niceness from my parents
40 squid itunes voucher from my big bro (hooray on forging sibling bonds at christmas!)
25 squids from my fabulous Grandma
    a spangly scarf
    a silly joke book
knee high stripy socks (actual ones, not the lovely Heather ;) )
    a green amber/silver necklace
and the booby prize - a 4 in one beauty thing that I can't figure out if it's useful or a bit insulting. It's a spinny manicure thing and heated eyelash curler, which is fine, but then it's also a facial hair trimmer (why would any girl TRIM their facial hair??? Pluck that shit) and a spinny facial brush (why do i need to brush my face??). well, there's always one!

Mmmmm flumps. I saw a massive long tube of them the other day and was very tempted. But I resisted.

And as for Christmas, I had many nice things delivered by Santa. It was cool.

    :D

The flowers are vastly inferior to the sparkler, it's true. True to form, I obviously burst into tears when I saw it. Even more special because it was my fella's late mum's ring, so it's obviously very important to him and not just big shiny diamonds (though that in itself is quite nice too, of course )

I got the rest of my prezzies last night from the fam. A day for me and the fella at an Aveda spa (his favourite -- such a big girl's blouse), new camera, a pink Oleander, loads and loads of books, a swanky set of kitchen knives, a kumquat tree/bush thingy, an art deco fruit bowl (!?), my fave Jo Malone perfume and a photo of me and my two best friends blown up on rough canvas which came all the way from Oz
