Comfort Food

Am leaving work in about half an hour and trying to plan an evening of delicious comfort food, if I can coerce someone else to go to the supermarket.

So for inspiration, and just out of interest, what are your ultimate comfort foods? Pie and mash? Macaroni Cheese? Big industrial sized bar of Dairy Milk? (Yes to all from me :yum:) Something totally different?
Beep boop. I'm a bot.

Takeaway pizza. In a heart beat. I had some last night, but I think I need some now.

Either that, or, the cheaper option of Cheese and Ham Bachelors Super Noodles. :yum: With a big soft thick piece of white bread and butter :)

They do. They smell vile too. But for some reason, to me, they are better than sex. I'd kill for some tonight. :)

4 thick fresh rounds of bread - lightly toasted and buttered. Slice some strongish cheese, nice and thick. deseed and chop a couple of birdseye chilli, dice a red onion, cut up some fresh panchetta or salami, lob it all on the toast and season with sea salt and fresh ground pepper. Whack it under the grill until all the cheese is bubbling and going brown at the edges. Serve with Lee & Perrins or Peri Peri - Real comfort food :heart::heart::heart:
