Is there any law that states your current employer are to allow any time off paid or unpaid to allow employees to attend interviews for another job?

    Yes I'm sure that would go down well. If you're going to tell your current employer that you're going for interviews you might as well just quit your job now because you wont be there for much longer

    Well I have to work 9hrs a day, 6 days a week so it's not exactly going to be easy getting a new job.

    Working time directive (or something along those lines) says you shouldn't be working that much. You should get a 48 hour continuous break from working every fortnight.
