How do you turn off auto format? Particularly numbers and bullets. I should know this but I don't. :o

    Tools > AutoCorrect Options > AutoFormat or AutoFormat As You Type tab.

    You can also press backspace after an autoformat takes place and it will undo it.

    Yeah, I was doing that, and the undo... but I was doing it all the time for my assignment and it got on my nerves :p Thanks though :)
