I had my IPod plugged in and then clicked on Itunes to install i then thought no ill restart, so i pluged and pressed cancel.

Now i rebooted and i got this message AFTER the loading screen.

STOP: c000021a {Fatal System Error}
The Session Manager Initialization System Process Terminated Unexpectedly With a Status Of 0xc000026c (0x00000000 0x00000000).
The system Has Been Shut down.

I tryed the Chkdsk /p
Rebuilding the boot thing aswell

Please help as i just stuck my files back on!!! I tryed using a LIVE version of Linux but my ipod does not get picked up so out of luck there.

I DO NOT want to format until i have my files.

If what you guys help me with does NOT work i will go buy a Sata To hard drive thing and see if that works.

Thanks

    Correct - Blue screen right after the loading screen

    Insert your XP CD and begin an installation but do not have it format the drive. Have it re-install into the same windows directory you had before. This will get you back into Windows, I would then backup your data and then do a complete reformat and reinstall.

    What im doing right now is Windows CD in and going into the windows thing i can see my partiion pressing R and its going to "upgrade" rather then "fresh isntall"
