post abortion period

7 weeks ago i had an abortion. at the time i was told i should have my next period within 4-6 weeks. its now 7 weeks, and although i've had a hell of a lot of stress going on in my life, and i know that stress can affect a menstrual cycle, i haven't had my period yet. so, should i be concerned and freaking out? or should i just put it down to stress and give it some more time?

    My best friend had an abortion in April and it was 8 weeks until she got her period. I think it's fairly normal but if I were you I'd make an appointment with a GP or phone the clinic who saw you.
