SATA Drives and Laptops

I'm gonna buy a Laptop for work rather than build a PC, although the build option will still go a head but at a later date. Now, I have a lot of stuff on my SATA disk and need to transfer over to the laptop, any idea how I could do this?

Hmm, not sure anywhere local will sell, you might try maplins, maybe PC World.

If you can't get an adaptor, go for a SATA caddy, best bet is ebay though tbh.

Can't you put the SATA drive in a normal PC and send the files over network?

My motherboard has a sata port on the back for 'hot swapping' drives, dont know if you can get laptops with such things.

I'd swap files via my network but my PC is bust, well and truly.
