Do you sometimes wish you were young again?

As in primary school/early secondary school age.

Its this time of year where I wish I was young still so I could enjoy X-mas more, enjoy my presents more, play with my action man and PlayStation games more. :(

    I looked at the title of this thread and thought, oh yes, I'd like to be 16/17 again... I'm now incredibly depressed that the OP meant something different by the term 'young' :grump:

    I actually wouldn't. I'm having the time of my life at the moment. If I had to though, I'd go back to being 15/16 again. Had some good times :thumb:

    I was very depressed when I was young, had a lot of issues and pretty much spent too much time smoking pot and stuff, but I'm glad I'm behind my mates who all worked hard. I'm 22 and in the second year of a course I am passionate about, I have the freedom to be who I want down south... I live with two crazy art students who both rock and have amazing friends. :)

    So nah... I don't think I'd appreciate what I have right now as much if I were younger, nor if I hadn't made such mistakes. I wouldn't trade what I have for the world.

    I wouldn't go back. This is the happiest I have ever been. I wouldn't want to go back to bad times.

    No.

    I didn't enjoy my childhood or my teenage years. Ok, so my childhood was ok-ish but like, yeh. I just remember being bullied and stuff and when ur so young, its seems like the end of the world.

    I like who I am now, I like my life now and like where its going. I'm happy being the age I am. I often wish I could go back to age 17/18 to change certain things but hey, its not possible.

    I want to about 10 again, before I started secondary school and all the bullying/years of depression started. I'm much happier now then I was in my last teens, a lot happier then I was six months or so ago.

    Maybe about 16/17 again. Got my head down and studied harder for my A levels as i'd be a pharmacist on £20 an hour by now :D That being said i feel and act like a big kid anyway. So much of my childhood/adolesence was taken from me, i seem to be living it all now :)

    I wouldn't be opposed to going back and changing some of the decisions I made, but I wouldn't wanna stay there.

    Yeh going back and knowing about your future would be cool so you wouldnt fuck up again, i did some dickish things when i was young, but hey it made me who i am today. So i kinda wish i could go back, but i like who i am now

    I'd like to go back to be certain ages again where i remember having great memories but then miss other bits out which weren't as great. University has been the best time of my life though, followed by my primary school years. Secondary school was a bit shit really.

    But to the OP yes i'd love to be a kid again for christmas and be back at the age where you put a mince pie out for father christmas and carrots for the reindeer and really believed when you went downstairs the next morning and saw all the presents that he had been!

    Ahh the memories of being young!
