Welcome!
Theres a few of us on this site that can barley speak English ourselfs.
Welcome.
Uh, I don't know exactly how it works in your country so I don't quite understand your question, but I'll try to explain how it works in the Netherlands
Here the study usually takes 4 years.
Because I have am pre-university graduated, I only have to study 3 years to become a teacher in a primary school :yippe:
Right now, I'm a first-year student (I graduated from college last year). At the end of the 2nd year I'll have to choose between the 'lower' primary school (4 - 8 years) or the 'upper' primary school (8 - 12 years)
Right now, I'm in internship in 'group 4', which means the last class of the 'lower' primary school (the kids are 7 or 8 years old).
I really love it, my class is so sweet! :angel:
@VinylVickey: Ever visited my country?
Hello :wave:
The Netherlands is definitely on my list of places to visit.
I know there'll be differences, i was just wondering what type of degree it was. Over here you either need 3 years undergraduate and one year post graduate (which is what i have) or 4 years combined degree. You also have the choice you can teach early years (nursery to year 2) or primary (nursery to year 6). I chose Early years, because i have no interest in upper primary.
I just had my dutch excahnge partner that i'm staying with teach me how to say all that lol..
Welkom!
Groningen is like foreign country to me, lol, it's about 250 km's away from my place! (and that's quite a distance, considering that my country isn't that big )
