Career guide book

Does anyone remember the mammoth book you would get in high school, often found in the library and shown to you by the careers adviser, which broke down & explained every job going & explained what qualification's and so forth you would need to get that job ?

Well I'm in need of a website that does the exact same thing. Alternatively if that doesn't exist I'd happily settle for the name of that book so i can perhaps buy it because I'm in need it's useful information.
