v quick paypal question

had my card details registered on my paypal account. now, i cant edit my card number....but since the last time i used payapl i have a new card. different card number...but same account number+expirey date. will the payment i have just made (for 2 items, before i realised this mistake) be taken out of my bank?
ive emailed the sellers to ask them to let me know if they've recieved payment....but not sure what else to do?

    I had an issue similar to this recently. Paypal basically paid the ebay seller then put the charge back onto me, but they only took what i paid for the item, no other charges. My card had expired and they'd automatically deleted it. I just added a new card/details etc got verified via a telephone call which was just an automated thing and its all sorted now.
