    Shocker!

And Falkirk dump Celtic out of the League Cup at Celtic Park after a penalty shootout. :D

I wouldn't gloat too much if I was a Leeds fan, Leeds lost at home to them by a much bigger scoreline...

    Good.

Evil can only triumph when good men do nothing.

    Well done Southend :yippe:

the southend goal keeper is a bit yummy. this is the best picture i could find http://www.southendunited.premiumtv.co.uk/javaImages/1c/f9/0,,10444~2947356,00.jpg - none of them really do him justice.

always nice to see the underdog win. :thumb:

True, but then look at the players that Man U have and the players that Leeds have these days? Which one is a world class team and which one isn't? Kinda obvious huh? Oh but they both lost to Southend... but it isn't completely shocking that Southend managed to beat Leeds... however for Man U that's just embarrasing.
Oh, and urm Leeds managed to beat Southend 2-0 the next time they played them

It has to be said Ferguson took it well.

I wonder what Mourinho or Wenger's reactions would have been if it'd been them.

esp considering im a wolves fan and we beat southend at the weekend 3-1 yet we lost the last time we play'd man u and i think the score line then was 3-1 to man u.

    kinda ironic in a way.

Southend deserved it, proves that we don't have a strong squad, been obvious to me for a while. Fergie should fuck off Fletcher, Richardson and O'shit instead of constantly turning to them.

Alan Smith was a pile of wank last night as well.

    Roll on saturday.

Not as ironic as that one.

    Fair comment,
I've only seen Leeds play 7 times at Elland road, but living all the way down here doesn't make it easy...the fact is though that I'm not just supporting them for the glory either, as I've already stated the whole of my mums side of the family come from and mostly still live in Leeds, supporting Leeds runs in the family...and as for the glory, well if I was after that then I certainly wouldn't be supporting Leeds now would I?

I was just making a point, yes we've got some southern fans and some of them travel up here every other week and have been doing to so for 30+ years, they're not glory hunters believe me as that takes a lot of commitment.

MoK I don't know why your bothering, the rivalry with the sheep is all but dead, they just can't stop hitting the self destruct button

was fair chuffed for southend last night, altho they are one of the poorer sides ive seen at the turf this season, eastwood is obviously a diamond in a shit heap.

And a full strength Rangers team getting beat 2-0 at home to First Division St Johnstone :D :thumb:

Does this still count as an upset?

And who says the League Cup is worthless? :yippe:
