Ok, so i like this guy at work. I've only been working there for four weeks and don't really know much about him. We get on quite well, and we're flirty towards each other in a cheeky sort of way. He's always saying things like 'darling' 'doll' and when i did something wrong he said 'i'll have to spank you for that!'

Anyway, i'm not sure if he really likes me or is like that with everyone. How can i tell? Is it worth asking him if he's busy on next weekend? Are guys flattered by girls asking them out?

So this is kind of a question for the guys. And for the girls - how many of you out there have asked a guy out and it went right or wrong?

I always used to wait to be asked. I never asked a guy out till very recently.

I was on a work placement for college & liked a guy I was working with. On my last day there I plucked up the courage to ask him out for a drink coz I knew he was never going to even if he liked me.

Turned out he did like me but was too shy to say anything, i'm really glad I told him.

If u like him go for it. All he can do is say no & u will regret it if u don't as I have many a time!!

He's away to dublin on wednesday for a week, so i won't c him until a week next saturday. But even then, i'll only have been working with him for 5 shifts. That's not really a long time. Or is it long enough? Should i ask him wot he's doing for the rest of the week and then ask him if he wants to go for a drink....or wot?!?! I'm getting all flustered just thinking about it. But i think i do like him - although he is 5 yrs older than me - i'm 16, he's 21. Do you really think he would go for someone a lot younger than him.

Actually, the more i think about it, maybe he's just playing with me - he wouldn't want to go out with a 16yr old, would he?? AAARRRRRGGGGHHHHHHHH,.............help

I Simply can't believe how many girls still talk about asking a guy out. it's not odd, not anymore freaky than a guy asking a girl out, and is actually fairly flattering.
So girls, if you like a guy, for fucks sake ask him, instead of wittering on about it between yourselves!!

Hey - you know better than most men that us girls need to analyse a situation before we make any definate commitment to the course of action we should take. Dont get frustrated at us because of it, that's just how we work!
