Steak and Kidney or Steak and Ale.

A pie is not a pie unless its for desert. Anything other than that is just nasty

    And my favorite is
strawberry ruhbarb, pumpkin, apple or peanut butter

i can't imagine pie soup would taste too nice.

but just because the pie soup wasn't nice, it doesn't mean that pie isn't nice.

Steak and Ale pie, blatantly. or a Chicken Balti pie.

    Any other pie just loses.

No other pie can beat a Steak and Keidney pie - a lot of people however don't like kidney because of the thought of eating an animals organ.
Kidney makes the best gravy for pies.

Kidney's alright, and it does make great gravy, but its not my favourite. I don't have any issue with what its made of (black pudding is lush) but I just don't love the taste and texture of it.

Put some kidney in the steak and ale pie then and its a winner :)

 it'd be rich but good.

I've got to get into cooking pies. I'd love to be able to cook a good Game Pie - another one of my favourites. :yum:
