i thought that'd have been pretty obvious seeing as you said it directly after the previous post about making sizes smaller to make people feel good about themselves.
oh well..
I'd feel really crap if I had to buy a size 4, because I've struggled to put weight on for the past few years and now I've managed to put a stone on and the thought of having to buy clothes with tiny sizes again does not make me feel good.
I haven't seen any size 4s available where I live yet... And I hope I don't cos it'd piss me off no end.
good on you! What I did was buy some wool ones and shrink 'em in te wash. What's super super annoying about this size 4 malarky is that I bet they're not actually any smaller so people who had trouble buying trousers before are still going to have trouble buying them now. I say this and I swear I'm not skinny. I'm about the same siz now as I was at 14 when I was a size 8. Even that was a tad silly coz old stuff in my mum's wardrobe at size 10/12 was snug on the ole waist band... sigh
I've found River Island 6 are a perfect fit for me
I've never ever seen a size 4 before :chin:
Don't even get me started on New Look, George etc. :grump:
I'm not sure we should have standardised sizings, as people with any other body shape that doesn't conform to a standard, will be bollocksed. But standardised sizings within stores would be a good start.
wel, maybe six months ago but now, that would probably be a 2 or something.... lol
Different people are built differently.
and just in comparison, im about 5ft 5/6, 8 and a half stone, and a size 6 or sometimes an 8! everybodys just bigger in some places and lickeler in others! x
