Film Characters with Glasses

Hello.

This seemed apt to put here but maybe it should be in Style, I don't know. But basically,i'm going to a party tonight and the theme is film stars. Ive got a problem though because i have no contact lenses at the moment and need to wear my glasses. Anyone have any ideas of a film character with glasses?

    I don't get how this works though. Surely it has to be a film character with exactly the same sort of glasses that you wear anyway? Unless you're planning on getting some prescription glasses specially made? Expensive costume that'd be.

    My glasses are thick rimmed black ones if that helps.

    I did dress as Harry Potter when i was 16 for a party :(

    or the charachter michael cane played in the italian job - though i might be imagining he wore glasses because michael cane wore them in something else.
