My dad's been spending all week getting all excited because "Ben's going back to the pound where he bloody belongs" (he's going to kennels while they're away next week), but I caught him cuddling him this morning. And a few weeks ago he nearly wet his knickers with fright when no one knew where Ben was (hiding under my quilt from the thunder incidentally)

    Aww kittens :heart: We got all ours from local farms etc apart from one whom we rehomed from our vets. I love them. Just be weary of their first experience with the christmas tree ;)

    Well we will at 2 o'clock. Off out in a bit to buy kitten essentials and sort out a vet and their jabs. Post some pics when i can. :)

    have you got a few scratching posts and cat litter tray and all that?? i surgest a covered litter tray coz my kitten like to dig it all up and it went all over the floor. Another top tip i have is ............good some paper and make it into a ball and they love it.........also its free my kitten loved it. they might be scared for the first 2 nights but they will be ok.

    I do heart cats. Ours are just monkeys mind. And the most demanding things in the world.

    Well they're both hiding under the sofa, between the Trivial Pursuit and Monopoly :) Tempted one of them out with a bit of food, but she scurried back when the bf came in the room. Just leave them for a bit now and they should be ok.

    Aww poor little ones, they're afraid. In a big house with two scary giants! :p Who knows, they might want to eat the poor cats.

    have you got a mouse? a scratching pole? a ball with a bell in it?
    can you see how much i am missing having kitty cats?

    ETA: Kermit and GWST, your kitty is gorgeous, and if KHSS doesnt want him, ill have him :p actually I'll have him anyway.Im on my way to get him now....!

    we kept smokey in one room to start untill she got used to the noises and surroundings.

    have you tried the paper ball trick......?

    watch out for ear mites kittens get it easy....its like black ear wax they will just need ear drops if they get it. smokey had it but its ok now.....i was very worried

    Not done anything with 'em, poor little buggers still getting aclimatised to the big, outside world. When i came back from preparing dinner, some of the food had gone so at last they're eating. I've tried to coax 'em out but they're not having it :) Put a toy mouse down for 'em to play with and thats now under the sofa :)

    have you got all the stuff for them then? i got my kitten at 8pm on a tues night in june i was in tesco 8.15pm buying all the stuff!!! lol
    it was so spur on the moment but im so glad we did it.

    a tunnel
    loads of balls and mice toys
    a blanket
    bed
    litter tray
    .......................the list goes on.........
