Just don't let Andy write it, every child would end up being named "Cunt".

when people try to spell their names differently. Like Leighanne.

It's called being awkward. But yeah, spelling names differently is a pain in the arse. (I don't spell my first or last names properly and they always get spelt/pronnounced wrong)

As for me, people whose names aren't that 'original'. And people who name their child after cartoon characters or similar. (I have a friend who named his son Pacey after the character in Dr. Who)

    Idiot names.

There was a woman calling her child "Ocean"yesterday in Tesco.

We had one child called "Happy" at school. I mean, seriously... wtf?

I dislike names like Gemma, Emma, Claire - They're overused and unoriginal.

For boys, all the typical David, James, John, Paul, Matthew, Daniel - Biblical names, horrific.

Ditto. I hate my name :D

I have a cousin called Krystal. It's quite a funny name.

That's the kind of name I love! A name that means something in the person's language.

A name I hate is Bertha (surprised that no one mentioned it so far). It's absolutely impossible for me to think of anyone named Bertha who wouldn't be both fat and ugly.

I hate the names Bailey and Ethan for boys. Unfortunatly ever other little boy I hear of these days is called Ethan. For girls, jessica, jade, paige, tyler, those sort of things.

I hate Francesca for a girl. It makes me want to throw up on the spot. That's about it though, there aren't any other names I can think of right now.

I'm called Claire. Clearly, it is an amazing name, for this reason only.

Francesca? I think I hate it because it reminds me of this stuck up kid when I was a kid... she used to knock me sick. Maybe I relate it to her?!

Was it Rachie who said she tended to dislike the names of people she disliked? I think I'm the same - because I just remembered I hate the name Donna. And the name Sophie. :p OMG AND MARGARET. Hate that especially.

Just so my name can be even more over-used and unoriginal... I'm called Claire Louise. I share the same middle name as nearly every girl born in 1985/1986 that lives in Manchester.

I hate my name, actually. Because it's the most common one here, and I hear it all the time when people don't mean me. I'm seriously thinking about changing it (been thinking for years now, heh).

Ditto, only replace 85/86 with 80/81, Manchester with Leeds, and Claire Louise with Katherine Elizabeth.

I seriously think my mum was reading the top 20 baby names list and decided to go with number one and number two.

Still, I don't mind my name. I'd rather be unoriginal than ridiculous :)

I'd like it lots more if it weren't so bloody long!

Anyway, I've remembere that I also hate all girls names beginning with Ch (with the exception of Charlotte, which I think is ok), and when people give their children unusual, exotic foreign names, but then their surname is something like 'Johnson'.

My sister is Rachel Elizabeth Ruby, and that's 25 with our surname. Close, but doesn't quite beat yours.

My middle name is Catherine (the C is important!)

Thank god i was just called Emma, if my mother had given me a middle name like that i would have been seriously unimpressed by now.

Having said that i do want a middle name that'd go with Emma. Gotta think of something before i deed poll it!

What I should have said, was:

No Stacey, I think that Manda is a lovely person!

Which would have been an altogether better response.
Thanks. I was starting to get a complex :p

I can't off the top of my head think of any names imparticular that I hate, but I hate when people had to spell their child's name all weird. I can't even think of any right now :\
Also stripper names. I couldn't imagine calling my child Crystal or Saphire (as I believe I read already in here), Jewel or Paradise.
Not a fan of seasons or months for names either.
