Ever think about stealing?

Former MemberFormer Member Posts: 1,876,323 The Mix Honorary Guru
So do you? Not do you steal, but just thought about it? I lost an earring on Monday, just a cheapy one, but it was pretty. Tuesday just kept thinking, it would be so easy to just wander into the store and just take one. It came from a Claires-like store. Just take the one. I wouldn't, but I thought about it.

Stole once, a talking keychain when I was about 13 or so. I felt so bad I threw it away a couple days later.

Couldn't bring myself to do it, which is why it was so weird I was thinking about it :p

So, any badass thinkers out there too

Yeah, often do in shops, think how easy it would be. I don't though, I've been busted and so have my mates. Security is better than you think.

Anyway. I do steal some stuff though, all depends on where and when it is. Abandonned house? No moral issues there. Is it left ling about in public? Meh, go for it.

However, I wouldn't steal a bike from outside a shop, a car, a motorbike, etc. Something of nominal value, yeah.

Yea i think about it but it's not worth it, i've seen too many people get into court/jail over stealing and it's really not worth it.

One of my mates who was in court a few months back is still at it, he's a fool and we've told him many times that he'll get caught again but he thinks he's too good at it which is the problem, he only ever steals booze though.

Thing is, if you want it to be worth it breaking the law, then stealing isnt the way to go as it carries relatively hefty sentences (possibility of prison) and also has a high chance of getting caught.

Fraud is where the money is, apparently.

Once I colored a 1cent silver (cuz they are copper) and passed it off as a 10 cent piece at Wendys :p:(

I remember watching a show on court tv, Great Heists I think it was, about this guy who spent so much money and so much time perfecting a tokens and chips for a couple casinos, made tons of money off it, till he got caught of course.

I was walking through Pizza Hut today having just got a takeaway, and I thought "I cba to wait til I get to college to eat my pizza, it would be so easy to just take one of those pieces from the buffet".

Didn't, obv, cause I had a huge fuck off pizza already, but it would have been SO easy.

i used to be a theifing little git when i was at school. I never felt bad at the time, because i didnt steal personal property. It would always be lunch from the canteen, and the ques were such a mob it was easier to walk round them than to que up at the till and pay.

I stolen lots of footballs at school aswell, but they were all in circulation, you win some you loose som.

I'd nick from my work if I could because they treat me badly and pay me badly. I'd steal from a bank too, because they all deserve to go bankrupt. Same with Tesco. The only reason I don't is because I don't have enough guile to get away with it.

    I wouldn't steal from a small shop and I wouldn't steal from a person.

D'you know what i'd love to know.

Why a person / thief would even try to steal a £2.39 football or even a £2.00 pair of socks.

It's funny i was going to make a thread about stealing and thiefs but i'll just post my opinion here [:p]

I sometime's cannot understand why you would attempt to steal goods with basically no value.... but then i remember that our [uk] justice system, if you can call it that, is a greatbigfuckingfarce and that's when i remember thats why they do it, because they know full well it will always go unpunished.

but answer my first question ...

funny.. I nicked earrings from Claires once. I gave it to my former best friend, who never wore them. how rude of her...

I am not the stealing type. Sometimes I think, "oh man, this is so expensive, imagine if you could have it for free." but I never consider it. I am veeery nervous and get heart racing...

I used to steal all sorts, cars, wallets, garden machinery but I never really shoplifted.
Thankfully I grew up a bit and now pay for stuff I need.

Not normal....but some times.....when you are walking toward a bank and pass a construction site with a big fuck off bulldozer....then a female hoisery shop....then waterstones where they advertising safe craking for beginners.....then a car boot sale where someone is trying to flog cheap shot guns and get away cars.....it feels like fate is telling you to do something......:o

With me it's in the same part as my brain as standing on the edge of a platform and thinking you're gonna jump in front of a train. Or being in a shop with lots of ornaments and thinking you're gonna knock em all off the shelf.

As in, it's not something I'd ever do but I still worry that I won't be able to stop myself.

The only time I'd consider stealing now is if the item was of serious value.

Technically I've stolen something. An empty tape from a friend of my aunt's. But I always intended to give her another one back, and I did in the end.

But from a shop, no, I never have. Though I have been accused of stealing a couple of times. Sometimes I think how easy it would be.
I've even been tempted to take something and walk out, only to walk back in afterwards and give it back, saying they should watch people better because I might have been a real thief. :p

    .

People like the buzz of it, if you steal a football from a shop your more likely to appreciate it and have more fun with it than if you just spent your loose change on it.

Other popular petite theifs could go under the souvernier catogery, bar towels, beer mats, road signs, hotel room stuff.

when you are young you its good to tell stories about what you have been up to then have a road sign in your garage to proove it.

I'm too good for that... I went to the uni restaurant yesterday, and no one was at the till. I didn't wait, but went to eat. Later on that day I passed by and the guy was there, so I went and told him I ate earlier and wanted to pay. :D
