ok heres the deal im in one of those depressing moods; nothing to eat or watch or do; skint at home babysitting while all the mates are out starting off the weekend; slightly heartbroken with old radiohead playing; options for tonight include coursework or tidying my room, then of course i could just smoke my way through my last pack of cigarettes...then dont get me started on global warming or murderers because then i really will kill myself.
basically i know im being a depressing bastard really as are many people on these boards, it can get quite disheartening reading everyones misery all the time. which is why i attepmt to turn this around. give me something youre happy about in your life at the moment, or at least tell me SOMETHING i can be pleased about in the world today so i can cheer myself up.

When you actually feel proper settled, even when you're skint and in on a Friday night when there's a 2 quid a drink offer on, when 100% of people say that your ex is a shallow and vincictive mare that you can do about a million times better than, when you quite like somebody and somebody quite likes you, when you start a new job that you'll really get into and the people are just wicked, and when you fall out with your family for the best part of a year, swallow your pride and talk to them and start building bridges.

We were having drunken randomness talking last night and this came up. I find it just totally amazing and unbelievable, when you really think about it, what women do. They can grow a new little life in themselves and bring it into the world. It must be indescribable that feeling you have of having another life inside you.
