What's that coming over the hill?

It's an obese blue dude!

Only joking, I don't really look like Mr. Bump I'm afraid, but after reading the forum for a little while I thought I'd join in the fun. My name's Mikey and I just graduated from university (where I studied ancient history). I'm having a year out at the mo, since I was late in applying for the grad jobs that interested me (causing me to miss all the deadlines, doh!) so I thought what better way to spend my time than doing something constructive like posting here all day :D

So, to the point of this post... hello!

    Hi :)

Where did you go to uni? I wish I'd chosen ancient history. Sometimes modern gets a bit boring.

Ta for the welcome everyone :)

MoonArcanum, I went to Reading. I loved the course but was the opposite of you, in that sometimes I wished I could do some modern because just doing Greece and Rome could get a bit repetitive. Whereabouts do you go?

JESUS CHRIST! I had completely forgotten about Mr. Bump. We used to read that book all the time when I was a kid visiting the grandparents.

    Welcome to the boards dude.
