Yeah it is pretty cool for nights out, it's good. It's a bit weird though, it's kind of like halls of residence but with grown ups. I like it though.

You won't be able to reach my windows sadly, I'm on the 8th floor :D Our balcony looks out over the station and Urbis and the rest of the city. Even more jealous now? :hyper: If I look out of my window now I can see the Triangle, and some trams pulling into Victoria station. :D

Sometimes I have days where everything seems so unfair. I'm having one of those days today! I'd KILL to live in the centre of town.

By the way, how do you know that I'm not an Olympic thrower (??!) and can reach 8 storey windows with bricks quite easily?! ;)

It's expensive though, living in town, by the time I've paid my rent there's not that much money left tbh. But who am I kidding, it's ace :hyper: Although I do tend to buy my food from Marks and Spencer because I can't be arsed queueing for 45 minutes in the Tesco Metro.

Ah but you still don't know which one my flat is...unless you're planning on putting in the windows of everyone on the 8th floor :D

I hate that Tesco Metro, it makes me eyes bleed. Could it be any busier? And nothing is in the right place... ahh it WINDS ME UP. I used to work on Great Ancoats, at the bottom of Oldham Street which was great... now I work in scruffy Stockport and I miss town. :(

I'm thinking about just aiming for each window in turn until I see a female head stick out and start hurling abuse and mention the word Babyshambler...!!

You could always ring the intercom, like normal people :p

It's the obvious answer, but I'm not normal.

And there's nothing like a brick though your window to surprise you. :D

She'd know it was you, at least!

    True!

Ahh, I really want to meet some of you lot. I haven't met briggi yet either and now we can't drink Special Brew - well I can, but that's not as much fun on your own. :(

Put it in the briggi-beer-bank for later ;)

Aha - I was just about to roll along and post this!

If people are arriving at the station, we could just meet at the station? Although last time we did that I remember getting myself all in a tizz thinking 'look for the baldy head look for the baldy head'.

    Also who is definitely coming?
  • Former MemberFormer Member Posts: 1,876,323 The Mix Honorary Guru
I'll be accompanying the baldy head :D

    Unlikely!

...but I'll make the effort for you, Kaff, if it makes you happy :p

What were you going to do? Crawl around looking at socks until you find me?

Sounds like a plan. Or meeting somewhere near the station so I can't get lost.

I shall be plodding along with Mist.

Early afternoon like 1pm-ish would be quite good. We have to navigate ourselves from Sheffield and the train from us is only one an hour. :thumb:

1ish is good for me. So far I'm the fifth wheel! Any other takers?

    Isn't Mr Kaff coming?

Do you not remember the pineapple comment last time? I highly doubt it.

So is it 1pm somewhere around the station, then?
  • Former MemberFormer Member Posts: 1,876,323 The Mix Honorary Guru

    1226. I just checked :D

I've never been to Leeds before :o

How about actually in the station? That's nice and easy. Can someone who's actually been to Leeds station in the last year or so point out any nice landmarks?

P.S. Romeo and Juliet - if you are coming from Moortown, I'm gonna drive to town if you want a free lift :)
