i'd have to say the little mermaid. although anastacia is good too.

    I think I'm one of the very few people in the world who LOVES Fantasia, though, too.

    eta: Best girly-girl one is Sleeping Beauty, it has to be said.

    All you peope are such philistines.

    The Jungle Book is by far in a way the most superior Disney film in existence.

    Closely followed by Pinocchio and Toy Story.

    Oh, I just can't wait to be king!!!!

    The Lion King, obviously.

    Then after that my favs would be Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin and the Jungle Book.

    Reasons why the Jungle Book is the best Disney.

    1) It has the best memorable song in Disney (The Bare/Bear Necessities)
    2) Has the best soundtrack in general of any Disney
    3) Best story (it was written by Rudyard Kipling and not some damned Yankee)
    4) Some very funny parodies of old-England (elephants) and the new hippy generation (the vultures)
    5) A deeply sobering and quite sad ending (apart from the very end)
    6) Cos I says it is.
