Profile pictures

Just to say that part of the new redesign (you can see more details here) profile pictures are going to be displayed in the top right of some community pages, such as the homepage.

They won't link to your actual accounts, so don't worry about that - it's more of a visual display of who is in the community.

For those people who don't want their pictures displayed please remove your profile pictures, and if you don't mind and haven't already uploaded an image, well it'd be great if you could, just so we've the largest number of possible images to randomly display from.

    the ones in the special photos thread or do we have to do something else? I'm a bit confused about what I've done and not done and stuff. And I'm bored at work so right now I'll do anything ;)

    The one in the special thread are images we'll be using around the place (bids, images on pages, etc) - the profile images will be displayed on the home page - and when you click to view someone's profile.

    Sorry, it's not going to be possible to not stop them being displayed on the homepage - however they are only displayed in a much reduced size (much smaller than on the profile page) and they don't have a username attached or link to your profile - so no one would be able to link through to you from them. You also don't have to use an actual picture of yourself.

    Ultimately it's your decision, but it's going to be too complicated to remove some people from the list.

    we should all put pictures of jim up in our profiles

    so when someone comes onto thesite then all they see is lots of mini jims
