Reduced fat cheese is horrendous, I completely agree.

Skimmed milk is another obvious one; but then I know people who genuinely claim to prefer it... I'd rather have a glass of water as it tastes the same. Pointless.

Low-fat rice pudding is awful too... it seems to be all the dairy stuff for me. Give me full fat anyday :yum:

skimmed milk is the worst thing going, its so watery. that soya milk stuff is crap tastes like goats piss.

cheese on the other hand i love. would never sacrifice my cheese fix in the name of health. i love all cheese.

That's a hell of a lot of food. (aspartame wise)

Do you think enough people know the effects aspartame can have? :chin:

I like Philadelphia low fat.... it's tasty.
Most low fat food is not really low fat, is it... It's just low(er) fat.

I have the best fatfree yogurt! Yoplait :yum: Tastes identical to the normal. And they c ome in better flavors than the normal. Apple turnover :yum:

Anyways, I once had a fat free ranch dressing on a salad. Tasted like old thick milk.

I grew up eating all fat free, lo calorie, sugar free and all that stuff so I'm probably just used to it all.

Every en-health-ed thing that is usually fatty/unhealthy is disgusting. Or most at least.

I drank some 2/3 calorie, no sugar sirup (diluted with water) juice once. UGH!

Ugh, I hate it when you end up buying a sandwich or a roll for lunch and all they have left at the back of the shelves are the healthy eating option... complete with low fat dressing which is usually revolting :( The worst one I saw was a low fat tuna sandwich, which was literally just dry bits of tuna in bread :yuck:

    that coke zero crap.

Its so wrong, and so foul, i really dont see how anyone likes it
  • Former MemberFormer Member Posts: 1,876,323 The Mix Honorary Guru
its basically diet coke, but the label now says coke zero
  • Former MemberFormer Member Posts: 1,876,323 The Mix Honorary Guru
regular coke is disgusting i find, you can literally feel the sugar on your teeth, doesnt taste nice at all and i dont find it refreshing one bit. i certainly prefer diet coke.

Its not, its something completely different to diet coke, for one diet coke doesnt taste foul
  • Former MemberFormer Member Posts: 1,876,323 The Mix Honorary Guru
i cant taste the difference between lo-far/lite/diet/whatever and full fat/sugar tbh so i normally just pick no sugar ones due to the no sugar. if i cant taste the difference i might as well pick the healthier option right? and as for coke - :yuck: i dont know how anyone can drink it, i used to but now i just find that you can feel it rotting your teeth and making you bloated.
and skimmed milk - :thumb: i think full fat milk is revolting!

I used to drink regular coke like it was going out of fashion, but now I can barely stomach it without buttloads of ice. All that sugar = :yuck:

However, generally my rule is low fat = low fun.

Ever tried toasting low fat cheese? It just doesnt melt and ends up looking and tasting like melted plastic :/

Coke Zero is ming it just tastes like carbonated water, as does Fanta Zero.
  • Former MemberFormer Member Posts: 1,876,323 The Mix Honorary Guru
One other thing. I once had a low sugar cookie dough ice cream. The cookie dough tasted like cardboard :(

My parents made me eat so bad :crying: Can't tell when something low actually tastes bad :crying:

Minus my fast food binges, when I go to the grocry store I get low everything. Low fat cream cheese, low fat cheese, skim milk, low calorie/sugar ice cream. I think the only thing I get normal is cereal!

I do genuinley prefer skimmed milk, I used to drink semi-skimmed and think 'Eurgh Skimmed' but since I changed I cant even have the semi skimmed in tea as it tastes too creamy :yuck:
