My Worms disc is stuck in My old and broken processor.

How can I get it out?

    A quid says it isn't ;).

You need to explain a little better - is it a floppy disc, or CD-ROM? Why can't you retrieve the disc?

The processor is dead and it's in the cd-rom drive.

    The eject button does nothing.

I would try using the manual eject then. Usually most CD ROM drives will have a small hole that you can push a straightened paper clip in and open the drawer.

Is there a flap or is it a fixed front?

Theres a button, press it and a tray comes out. that where the cd is.

If there's no small hole (which is very very surprising as pretty much every cd drive that I've ever seen has had one) that you can use to push open the tray manually, then you'll be stuck with either -

Take the drive out, connect the power to a power connector on a working PC, power up that PC and use it to eject the disc OR

Take the drive out and carefully pull it apart.

the small hole might not necessarily be next to the button, it could be anywhere along the bottom of the disc tray bit.

if theres no manual open thing and its not a rewriter then fuck it! just smash it open - its only a bog standard cd drive, only cost about a fiver if that.

How the FUCK does one manage that? Stop playing with black holes, fool!

If there is no hole for a paperclip to be bent and pushed through, take out the drive and unscrew the fucker. Take disc out.

Or take it out and put the drive in another PC.

A cd can't be in a processor, unless somehow it shrinked down and was teleported there -which I guess are things a black hole could do.

Is this an Apple Mac by any chance? Just curious, as IIRC, a lot of the newer Macs from 2001 onwards don't have a manual eject hole that is accessible from the front of the machine without taking the drive out. If it is a Macintosh, turn on the computer holding down the mouse button, and the CD should eject.
