Rainy day activities

BillieTheBotBillieTheBot Posts: 8,721 Bot
The weather is crap, my boyfriend, his flatmate and myself are all completely beanless and we've already resorted to putting together an IKEA wardrobe and a new curtain rail in the name of something to do. There's open-air theatre in the park today as well... but I daren't step outside for fear of getting drenched again.

Suggestions, anyone?
Beep boop. I'm a bot.

True. I might even try for a chocolate fudge cake... but I could be getting a little too ambitious now. Especially given my baking track record :p

    ^^^

Mmmm, I love cheesecake but if I wanted one I'd just buy it, that's far too difficult to even attempt.

I think you should make some biscuits in a variety of weird and wonderful shapes.

Or salt dough Christmas tree decorations, I feel so Christmassy today!!!

    Ohh ohh I know!

    Pimp a snack. www.pimpthatsnack.com

Me and my friend were going to do it today but due to unforseen circumstances can't. (I got up late).

    We're doing the flying saucer.

Bake a cake with some weed in it, eat it then watch dvd's all day.

My favourite though....re-arrange the house/flat. Move everything around....

I'm off for a seaside curry in Whitley Bay :yum:

One of my favourite places in the world was in Whitley Bay, the Rendezvous cafe. There was nothing like it on a cold, windy day to sit in there, all steamy and eat hot salty chips and drink coffee looking out over the sea.

    Is it still there?

Board games. Cannot beat a bit of monopoly :D

Actually, scrabble is better, with bonus points for various rude words :p

There should be places like that everywhere.

I feared it might have been snuffed out by the likes of McDonalds.

We actually did end up going out in our waterproofs, to the beach (but not Whitley or I might've tried to stalk... er, track down GWST :p ).

Had a paddle so we were soaked in every possible way and when the rain did stop the other half got into an argument with his cousin for suggesting that "we do a rain dance to bring [my] period on" which I thought was rather amusing, actually. Then we had an ice cream which was nice but then unfortunately had to go and have dinner with my boyfriend's crazy father and sit through his whole Jehovah's witness ministry. Fun times!

I made a cake this afternoon, though, must take a photo as I am v proud of it :hyper:
