Do you know the difference between police, ambulance and fire engine noises when they are going down the road?
Just curious

they just sound different
Same
I find it fairly easy tbh.
Plus if you listen carefully and use logic, you'll find that the police car will travel faster and therefore the siren sound will travel faster too.
you dont need sirens you can hear the jeeps a mile off anyway
I've always left the scene of my dastardly crimes before the emergency services respond.
I think I know the difference, though I've been wrong in the past. I definitely know what an ambulance's siren sounds like.
mind you, usually when i hear a siren i'm stood there going 'oooo, which way do you think it's gonna come' cos that is another thing i can't tell
stupid sound everywhere sirens :eek2:
when my little brother was about 4, he loved emergency vehicles. one day i said to him "what to fire engines do?" to which he replied with a beatiful nee naa noise. so then i asked, "what do ambulances do?" and i got a woo woo woo woo noise blurted back. then finally i asked, "what do police cars do?" he paused for a moment and said "go fast!"
bless his little cotton knickers!
