What does Region Free mean in DVD speak?

    It will play all DVD's. Like, a DVD bought in the USA will most likely be a Region 1 disc, but UK DVD players might be preset to only play Region 2, so it wouldn't play it.

    You can normally change the region of your normal DVD player to multiregion though if you search on Google enough. I changed all ours, took about 10 minutes.

    Yeah my DVD player plays anything, Im about to buy a DVD and it says its Region Free, I hadnt seen that before so I was just wondering. Ach I'll just buy it :p

    Aw you're nicer than me then. I don't buy the boyfriend DVD's for one simple reason - he'll make ME watch them. :) Which is exactly what I do to him, but he's daft enough to keep buying me DVD's. His fault.
