I dont understand how any peace deal can be made when the fucking USA is supplying Israel with the weapons to do this!

Any immediate ceasefire will strengthen Hezbollah and make a repeat of this in a few weeks or a few months more likely.

There has to be a long term solution which provides Israel with secure borders and restores Lebanon's sovereignty. A foreign terrorist group breached Israel's borders, kidnapped Israeli soldiers and fired missiles into Israeli territory and Lebanon is unable to control this group. The UN itself ordered the disarming of Hezbollah. This hasn't happened, Hezbollah is armed to the teeth thanks to Iran and is intent on causing maximum harm to Israel. Until Hezbollah ceases missile attacks into Israel and releases the Israeli troops - and is preferably disarmed Israeli operations should and must continue.

    .
i agree there has to be a long term solution but three days will not fucking strengthen them at all.
three fucking days for the sake of a million fucking innocent men women and children to have a chance of survivng is not a lot to ask. no more fucking excuses!
a million people turned overnight into refugees who are now homeless and jobless and facing death from starvation and disease and american missiles ...no more defending the indefucking fensible!

Israel has already opened safe corridors across Lebanon for humanitarian supplies - although Hezbollah has been blocking them to maximise the civilian impact. (And maximising the civilian impact - on both sides, has been Hezbollah's plan all along).

There has to be a long term solution where Israel's borders are secure and Lebanon has control within its borders. If that's not achieved the suffering on both sides will continue and reoccur in the future. The real victims in this are Lebanon and Israel. Lebanon was unable to contain Hezbollah and unable to stop Iran from sending weapons and resources to Hezbollah. As a result when Hezbollah initiated a war with Israel the Israelis were faced with the task Lebanon could not fulfil and the UN have shirked. (The UN long before recent events ordered the disarming of Hezbollah). And Israel too is a victim, the Israelis did not seek this war; the Israelis left Lebanon with no intention of going back. Missiles have rained down into northern Israel, worries remain over the fate of the kidnapped Israeli soldiers and the provocation of Israel is being skilfully exploited by her critics.

Everyone repeats the same lines. The difference is that Disillusioned's words are grounded in reality.

So it's not reality that thousands will suffer and hundreds more will die without much needed help that this 3 day ceasefire would bring? Catch a fucking grip of yourself mat!

This is utter bollocks. All Israel are doing with this bombing is increasing support of Hezbollah and hatred against themselves. You'd think they'd learn by now.
