Magistrate Morons Strike Again!

Two stories this week.

1. A man walks into a taxi office when plastered, and attacks a woman when she makes a joke about his failed football career.

2. A man walks onto a golf course and throws purple dye over the 18th green.

Can anyone guess who got jailed, and who got community service?

Time we sack all the magistrates I think. They have all the intelligence of an amoeba.

That's what you get when you have amateurish fools running the justice system.
Beep boop. I'm a bot.

You couldn't be more wrong if you tried.

Magistrates are lay people who volunteer their time up. Magistrates do not have legal knowledge, they decide the facts of the case and then decide how severe those facts were according to the sentencing structure. Any legal advice is given to the magistrates by the clerk, who is a qualified solicitor.

That's why magistrates cock it up so often.

Don't know about you, but neitehr of those jobs seem to have much service at "the bar". Unless you count the type which serves beer.
