Is anyone up for a thesite meet sometime in august? :hyper: if so, what dates can you make and how hard is it to find somewhere to get to nottingham for a night?

    I will be in Nottingham July 22/23rd at the Regatta lake. Come and find me! I'll be parked at the 250m mark on the bank of the lake with a load of very loud people in blue t shirts :yes:

    Only problem for me in august is im planning a holiday sometime .. dunno when though. Sorting that out soon .. i hope. But yeah would be interesting .... verrrrrrrrrrrry interesting!

    Depending on where it is, I could be interested. It would have to be city centre, mind.

    there are trams running from the station all the way through the centre so its quite hard to get lost really. (but then ive lived here all my life so maybe thats why i find it easy)

    I live there and I still get lost....good city though, there's some good bars but some not so good clubs...used to be a big fan of the End but 3 people got shot there last weekend so stay away! :eek:

    Ha good call...am proud to say I have never step foot in either of those places. Best bars are in the lace market but bit pricey I guess.

    its 1/2 hour on the train to the city centre for me....but i've only ever been once so i wouldn't have a clue where to go
    plus i imagine it'll be in a bar or something and i'm underage...plus i'm too shy

    Where do you normally go? the normal haunts for my little gang are libertys, cucamaras, stage, templars, priory, lloyds...and a few others occassionally

    Really hate alot of those places, although cucamaras is ok for cheapness. Went into Lloyds once and I'm sure I saw prostitutes in there, although Nottingham slags could easily be mistaken for them.
    You ever go to Stealth or are you a stealth-hater? Just interested to know what people's perception of it is.

    Theres a rave on this saturday at templars (was originally at the edge but got moved due to obvious reasons) that 2 of my mates are dj'ing at which should be fun :D

    Stealth isn't always DnB I'm not a big fan of DnB myself. It's usually techno/ breakbeat or housey stuff. Generally techno though. I tend to avoid the DnB nights which are only once a month anyway. You should try it some time...they get some pretty good DJ's in, although I hear there's plans to convert the rescue rooms and stealth into an entire indie club...:(

    I don't really have like a set routine of where i go, just wherever. Templars and Lloyds i guess are the main ones.

    I like Stealth, Saturday nights are good. They play some good stuff, if your into that type of music mind.
