Job interview

Former MemberFormer Member Posts: 1,876,323 The Mix Honorary Guru
Got a job interview at a club on Friday. Not for a specific job, but the available ones include; bar work, glass collecter, receptionist, club promoter, cloak room tender, and maybe another.

So, black trousers, flat shoes (not risking any further injury :p) and?

No open toe shoes. Which I have learned is frowned upon during job interviews and just look clean and neat since with those job apperances really speak about the establishment your working out. Also keep the jewlery to a min. but look fun maybe a scarf or braclet for color

Bars tend to have their own uniforms anyway, so as long as you look clean and presentable, I doubt it'll matter.

something like a fitted shirt or jumper would be fine

As much as I would love to go and work at La Salsa, I bet I couldn't pole dance for shit :p

I have a couple of black jumpers, but if I'm going shopping for new trousers anyway... ;)

Would something like that be smart/casual enough? I'll be having quite a few job interviews as well as this one (hopefully anyway) and whilst I have a myriad of shirts and two suits I think they're a little formal for some of the other jobs I'll be applying for.

    Or these two http://www.next.co.uk/items/G30/shotview/34/987-838-G30w.jpg

Assuming Next has them in my size tomorrow anyway.
