I would personally like to take a moment to congratulate Mr Poll on setting a new World Cup record with his refereeing performance tonight in the Croatia vs Australia match.

Booking the same player three times is quite some achievement.

Graham Poll, I salute thee!

Oh, and well done to us for getting through to the second round for the first time ever. Bring on Italy!

    I found that highly amusing! It's quite funny. At least the red came out after the third one though :lol:

    And yes, I am pleased that Oz got through. They are having a fantastic world cup.

    As well as the triple yellow card (lol!) he had one or two other howlers as well.

    The penalty he didn't give to Australia was sensational. That wasn't a foul- it was a rugby tackle.

    what an embarssement, hes representing England as a referee. He cant even get the basics right. Luckily it did not have a great affect on the game
