Trouble with WinTV

I have a Hauppauge Nova-T 909 PCI card and it works fine but when I boot it shows the first screen (RAM/CPU temp etc) but on the next one all I get is a little "_" so I have to reboot a few times before it actually works. Any ideas?

    Not related at all to the question as I have simply no idea what you just wrote, but who are you? You've just changed your name and I can't work it out :(

    I get all confused when people change their name :(
