A Simple Wish

Former MemberFormer Member Posts: 1,876,323 The Mix Honorary Guru
I have but one simple wish in life at the moment - it would make my life perfect......

I wish my best friend could accept me for who i am, understand me, not patronsise me or be nasty to me.

I ask you people - is that just too much to ask for? I mean i dont ask for a lot in life. I consider this to be a small thing for a lot of happiness.

If she cant accept you as who you are, then she shouldnt really be your best friend. friendship never works in just one way.

hey buglove - have you spoken to your best friend and told her you feel like this?maybe she doesnt realise how much she is putting you down as she has been doing it so long without you speaking out about it, or why don't you treat her how she treats you maybe she will wise up and realise best friends and precious.

i have been in a similar situation and i know at the moment you think it would be the end of thw world to loose her but trust me - it is alot easier in the long run and you do find better best mates! you don't need to stop bein friends with her just spend more time with other people and less time with her- maybe then she will realise she should be nicer to you!!!

Hey, I understand you there. I often feel like this when it comes to my best friend. Actually quite a lot of friends. They always expect you to be there for them and they are not always there for you.Just take you for granted. It sucks big time! I keep thinking about finding some new ones.Maybe I will when I go to Art College. Perhaps thats what you need to do. <IMG SRC="smile.gif" border="0" ALT="icon">

no ..... most of the time shes really nice but she doesnt like showing emotions and so doesnt like talking about things.

Shes not a nasty person - and i do tell her shes been nasty and she says "oh i was just pissed off"
