A new foreign guy in work is learning me loads...
It's only a few words though; not enough for me to actually have a conversation with someone.
Ok.
French is so hard... I just can't grip it at all!
Fluently I can speak english and french...
After if it is just a few words (which I don't consider speaking the language) I can speak italian, spanish, corsican, swedish, german, latin, algerian, japanese, chinese, russian, romanian, irish, scotish, australian, american...
My Italian has got a little rusty - probs around GCSE standard. I have a little Turkish, German, Dutch and Arabic.
Spanish is worse - at school in years 8 & 9, we had to learn both at the same time (as in a week we'd have 2 Spanish lessons and 1 French) which was confusing, because some of the words were very similar...
was russian hard to learn?
I am heading for Spain on Friday so I'm trying to learn as much as possible! :banghead:
I can imagine it to be friggin hard to learn.
If anyone here can speak Russian, they got my respect! :crazyeyes
Good luck!
Russian, in a word, is fucking difficult.
The alphabet is the least of your problems (unless it comes to typing!). It works like Latin and Greek ie. has a case system for all nouns, pronouns and adjectives and there's loads of fun to be had with prepositions and the like. All shits and giggles.
I disagree with people saying that Spanish is harder that French. I speak both and have virtually no problems with the former but still some with the latter. There are less rules for Spanish, the pronunciation is a hell of a lot easier, the grammer is easier and I just find that the general way in which the language works is easier. Plus it's a hell of a lot more useful.
Thank you.
That was weird.
pueda tengo una pinta por favor
And 'puedo tener una pinta'.
I know, I'm a dick.
