I'm going to be a Godfather!

B4 he died my mate and his girfriend decided that I was going to be the godfather of his son. Two days ago his girlfriend had the baby and I'm chuffed I just wish my mate was here to see his son born.

Just over amonth ago his girlfriend found him dead in his car after he inhaled lighter gas.

When the baby is cristened I'll be the Godfather. I know it's a big responsibility but I owe it to him and I'm glad they chose me. The baby's named Matthew after his father, one of the best Djs, funniest blokes, and best mates you could have ever had. Cheers mate <IMG alt="image" SRC="http://www.thesite.org/ubb/wink.gif">.

    nah, that's great news skive. i think it's great ur willing to take on the responsibilty, considering the baby and matthews gf will need someone to be there for them, someone to turn to. that's gonna be ur job mate, to be the best friend u can to them, to make sure they're getting along.

    As soon as I can I'm going to set up a national savings acount and deposit £200 in it. I'll set it up so he can't get it out until he's 18. I havn't seen him yet but I plan to in this weekend.

    yup. it's also nice that there will be someone else there to never let him forget who is dad was. and that even though he's not there, there's someone who will be there for him.

    I think thats really lovely <IMG alt="image" SRC="http://www.thesite.org/ubb/smile.gif"&gt; Im gonna have a naming ceremony 4 Liam as Im not religious at all and wasnt cristened...I think itll be nice for him to have something like that.

    Useful trick -> if your prospective beloved's eyes dilate when you first speak it means they fancy you. Eyes also dilate when u take cocaine, but at least ull know there interested or a crack head!

    Sorry I know it's a well old post but better than starting a new one + it saves me repeating shit.

    The Cristening was today so I am now officailly a godfather. Just thought I'd let you know. I was sooo nervous today, still it all went smoothly but for some reason my nerves arn't proply gone yet.

    I know some of you have got kids (MoK, Lolly) so it probly wont seem like such a big deal but trust me it is to me cos responsibility is a word I'm not really familiar with, but that I think is changing.

    I've remained pretty close to Kate (my mates girlfriend) so I'm sure I'm gonna see lots of her and little Matt in the future. I'm finding it hard already cos I don't really have a clue what to do, but I hope to be there for her as well as him specially as he aint got a real dad!

    I've got the biggest grin on you ever seen!
