The disclaimer doesn't come from experience, I'm guessing?

Na, I'm well over the age limit :( Actually, what is the age for naughty pics? Is it 16 or 18?

18 I think! Even the people of consenting age can't be at it. Weird or what?

    Side note:
My friend knew a girl at his high school who was 14 and filmed her and two friends doing lesbian things together. The video was sent round and about, as you can imagine. But it was the girls themselves who were under threat of prosecution because they were making and distributing underage sex as made by underagers. Meep!

I'm sure that I've heard of some sort of exception for people 16 to 18 in a relationship with someone. Might not be true though.

Well, it is odd that you can have sex at 16 but can't do nudey pics til 18... I knew a girl at school who "accidently" let a video of her in lesbian action fall into the wrong hands at 14 too, in fact I can think of two girls that did it. I never saw them but one video involved a ketchup bottle too! Hmmn, I still see her around- maybe I should ask her?

If you can't or don't want to do nudey pics, you could still make a fab photo love letter using your couple location, fave things, meaningful couple shit etc...

    It's my brithday soon. :flirt:

Welll, I was thinking of popping out of a cake dressed as a prawn. But, if you insist... ;)

katralla - we had something similar go around our (all girls) school... though it involved a tin of beans. Eek.

Were all these incidents before Bluetooth was invented too? What were they sent round on? Were they handing out video cassettes in the playground or something?

Nah just seems really gay to me, though if I was ever in love and manged to be at the other side of the world I'd write one.

Did you or anyone you trust explicitly ever actually see it, not just friend of friend etc? I'm wondering whether the lesbian action home video school legend is just that... an urban legend?

ETA: Same question to you Wish.

I have 'love emails' that I've saved, never really had any love letters- I guess I'm just a child of the cyber generation.

I've always done it, every relationship I had. I think it's nice to do it when you aint living with someone, because I always forget things I was meaning to say and it's nice to get them to put under your pillow and stuff.

Suppose it's not really necessary when you live together, but I just think it's nice to do stuff like that

    Discuss.

    Depends.
How would you define a love letter?
    :)

For a couple of months before me and my boyfriend were going out, we were totally inseparable (really good friends, who were 'becoming closer' etc.) We were always phoning and texting each other, usually planning to meet up at some point. If we were with other people we were always texting saying 'yeah, it's cool, but wish you were here, can't wait until tomorrow xx' etc. In school, we spent our lessons filling up a couple of notebooks of not particularly 'love letters', but certainly 'love themed' a lot of the time. Mostly just saying whatever we thought, occasionally analysing our strange evolving relationship, although mostly just went with it. So, it was like talking to him all the time. We'd slip the notebooks in each other bags when we saw each other and it was rather cute though admittedly, very corny. Pft, but you just don't care when you're in the moment do you? Corny is good!

Anyway, I think it's really really cute and so nice to look back on when you miss each other. It really makes those little moments last. He has our notebooks, and I've written him a couple of letters and little notes all the time. He sent me a poem in an email once because he was sorry that he wasn't online when he said he would be ...aww. And presents and cards are full of cute writings too. He left his wallet at a friend's the other day, and so I got it and had it overnight - I made a little book basically little things to reassure/occupy himself when he's bored/angry/upset or stressed. I thought it was rather cute, and apparently he did too because it's still in his wallet. Aww.

Anyway. With the changing over time thing - I suppose texts and stuff get more sexual and after the honeymoon period, you're not so obsessed with each other so the notes are less, but it's more comfortable I guess. Little texts like 'thinking of you' become rare but still just as special. Maybe even more so. What does everyone else think?

I write them usually on our month anniversaries, sometimes a quick note, a fun one, sometimes a couple of pages long. I wrote him a sex story once.

Other times, I'll write him a random spontaneous note/letter.

I keep all the letters he's given me, they arent as long as the ones I've written, or in the same quantity, but I love reading over them.

Our 6months letter always makes me cry :)

Its just a short A5 note, but its real nice.

Cant wait for next month - 1 year! :)

dont think ive ever written one...

i think they are sweet though, maybe not big cheesey love poem type ones as im not into that sort of thing, but i like the idea of short notes just that lets the other person know your thinking of them, and they are nice to keep too.

I like to have things to look back on.

    Aw thanks :)

He's a pain in my arse, but so cute :)

Guess I'm also just really happy as he's my first boyfriend and doesn't care that I'm on the 'bigger' side :)

Me and my girlfriend sometimes do...kind of randomly... but I don't do it as often as she does or as much as I should...

Therefore...this topic has made me feel the need to. I think I will... Thanks. :yeees:

I wrote a whole bunch for my ex, with poems and everything. Apparently, he never got them.

My boyfriend & I are both 20 and i've written a few to him & vice versa. Usually when we've had an argument or things are getting a little strange between us. I prefer to write how I feel rather than say it. I think I'll always do it because we do live far away from one another during the holiday periods so least he's always got something to read if he's missing me or something.
