    Lonley? I think that's how u spell it! Don't be, look at everyone around u (not phyiscally). Not meaning 2 bring me up but i think i'm all alone in this world. But never mind....not i'm going on!!

    Isn't it sad that there are so many lonely people in the world at once. They should make clubs for them or something. It's not helped when you're like me and really shy as well.

    Ever wonder why lonely people are lonely though? With me, it's because I've always been able to find things to do when I'm on my own, like read a good book or type stuff here like I'm doing now, or walk the dog, watch a DVD or something. And from that, I kind of got used to being alone, but I'm ok with that, I can still go out for mates for a beer and a laugh on a Saturday night, or I can take someone out for a movie, but in general, I'm just a loner because that's the way I am.

    I don't see anything wrong with being a loner. There's plenty wrong with being lonely though, that's another kettle of fish.

    All you gotta do is find people who like the same sorts of things you do. If you like expressing your feelings, then discussion boards like this one are good, you can get things off your chest and have a good rant in here, makes you feel better, plus you get people responding to what you say, good and bad.

    If you are lonely because you miss the company of others, go find a place where there's lots of people, like a sports centre, library, shopping centre, cinema, there's loads of people who like the same sort of stuff you do I'm sure, so if you are lonely you just gotta make a small effort sometimes to go out and find them.

    Having a partner don't get you out of feeling lonley, take these past few weekd for example, i last saw my bloke 22 Feb, he's supposed to c me on Weds, but has his doubts coz of his work. I can't go out with mates coz they are all in couples and it makes me depressed. So i go to the gym with my mate (with her boyf at home!!) and watch vids and stuff, play pool on wed's and try to fill up my time. But it don't stop me from missing him.

    You need to go out and socialise, and who knows somebody somewhere could be eyeing you up, if you don't get out there, they won't see you!!!!
