How sweet were Pokemon cards? And Pokemon in general.

It rocked my world as I was transcending the kid:young adult bridge.

I think Pokemon were a bit late for me.

Pogs and marbles. Now they were cool.

Never got into any kinds of cards. Probably because the only kids that did the pokemon were the dungeons and dragons anime geeks. The ones you couldn't turn your back on as they always had that school schooting aire about them.

Pogs were wicked, but it was always a bastard when you lost some of your favourite ones in a game!

    :p

I never had pogs though either :( I think that was before my time.

I did have this really cool thing with marbles when I was little though, it was a bunch of plastic pieces that you could put together and make like this giant thing. It would have loops and jumps and everything, you would put your marble in the starter then just watch it go down the thing you built... doesn't sound that fun i guess, but I loved it. I wish I could remember the name.

:D :hyper: It was a blast!! We had two sets, one for both me and my brother. When he would put a jump on his, when he wasn't looking I'd turn it slightly so the marble would fly off :p Oh those were a blast and a half I want one now!

I had all my pokemon taken from me because I threw Picachu into a bath full of water.

If beating weird ass animals I find in the wilderness, capture in ball then force to fight is wrong, I don't want to be right.

Anyone want to take on my bulbasaur? I've taped knives to his hands, he's a killing machine!

Pokemon is back in now. We have to constantly confiscate cards off the children. It does my head in.

One child came in today with cards and I confiscated them. His defence was that they are not pokemon cards. Yes, because x-men cards are any better :yeees:
