    Panic! are decent but FOB are so over-rated it's fucking ridiculous. They're absolute gash.

    I'd say Royksopp are quite underrated because they're a dance/electronic band, so I don't think they're taken as seriously.

    I love Royksopp. It's weird how electronic music artists can be hugely popular in those circles, but not so in the wider public. But I guess that's true of most genres.

    They Might Be Giants are incredibly underrated over here, though not so in the States I believe... Birdhouse in Your Soul pretty much rocks my world. Cake do not get the attention/adoration they deserve either, at least as far as I've noticed. Same goes for the fantastic Ben Folds (both as a solo artist and formerly) though I've noticed a few people (and media outlets) getting more interested in him more recently.

    Oh, and can't forget Prefab Sprout... they're all coming to me now.

    Both are great bands. And I agree with you totally. However, I don't think I know any of Ben Folds' solo stuff.

    whoever mentioned weezer, they are certainly underrated over here but they were the biggest thing since sliced bread at one point in the US of A. i love them too :)

    These bands are officially the most stupidly overrated thing the music scene has witnessed these days. But I heart them both anyway.
