So i had drunken sex with my crush and he never called me afterwards (it's been 2 weeks). I will most likely run into him again because we have mutual friends. Any advice on how i should handle this situation?? I'm tryin not to feel bad or used.

It was drunken sex. Did you go into it thinking that there was more to it? If not, he has no reason to call you. Just act normal when you are next around him.

its a bit daft to have drunken sex then expect them to call tbh....drunken sex is usually just a quick romp - nothing more to it

thats not true at all, plenty of people have drunken sex and go on to have fulfilling relationships.

people who have drunken sex then just avoid after are bastards, but its not the norm.

there are good people and bad people.

i'd never do such a thing, even if i didnt see it going any further. i'd always keep in touch.

well it's difficult to know what they want from it, unless you ask them - and you probably won't or won't remember so it's not wise to get your hopes up if you don't know what it meant for them

That's when it sank in that he may never call
But now this rejection is kind of hurting my pride
I'm finding it hard to keep my cool and not think about it.

i say give it another day or so then you have to face the fact that you probably have been used, it does happen to men and women a lot, you'll just have to deal with it, it might hurt for a while, but it'll pass.

That's true. Sometimes it takes people a bit of dutch courage to admit their feelings for one another. Other times a bit too much dutch courage can result in two people sleeping together who wouldn't otherwise. Either way, you can never assume that drunken sex is going to lead anywhere.

I agree with both of you here.

If you wanted a relationship with this guy, you should have made that clear before jumping into bed with him because at the end of the day, sex is just sex. This guy prob thought it was just a one off no strings attached shag.
