How do you know this guy? Is it mainly pubs n clubs or do you see him in a house type environment?
If its pubs then I'd go down the 'cuddle while waiting for a taxi, route' or 'cuddle while dancing then cheeky smile-twirl of the hair-slight opening of mouth-look at his mouth-lean in and kiss route'
In a house is much easier: Here you have scope for rubbing his knee, lots of giggling, flirting, if you are watching a film you can cuddle up loads and things should just happen from there really.
I would still do the looking at his mouth and licking your lips (slight opening of the mouth) because that should give him a good hint. Either that or just lean in and suck his face off.
