Azureus speeds?

I don't know much about BT stuff so I am wondering why my download speed is so slow? It's about 10k/s and upload is 0k/s atm. Is it something to do with upload/download ratio?

Upload: 200k/s
Download: 5k/s

    you might want to have your download limit set as unlimited

    and your upload limit set as about 75% of your total upload speed on the line

    you want the best download speeds you can, so just set the download limit to unlimited, cause even if you choke it a little, then torrents are the only real thing you can run on a connection at once

    and 75% of 512 if thats your upload bandwidth thingy

    Your promblem is shown right there with the number of seeders and leechers, especially if you are downloading from a public tracker like torrentspy etc etc.

    From a private tracker far greater speeds are seen even with a lower amount of seeds/leechers... eg, torrentleech.org, filelist.org

    Even with a high amount of seeders/leechers on public trackers download speeds can still be very poor.

    NAT was green, then it changed to red and now back to red and my download speed has fallen to 1.5k/s!

    Use bitcomet, I use Azeuras once in awhile but I prefer the old Bitcomet as it doesn't recognise the timer (wait 48hrs etc) and it isn't a resource hog.

    Yeh that's right but there's one I have been using that seems to be fine, and also my ratio never changes when I use the old bitcomet so I can download as much as I like without any penalty whilst still uploading to others.

    set upload to 10
    and download to 0

    Ports are already open, setting that down/upload ratio makes no difference.

    bitlord is good but it is the seeds and peers that is doing it, public torrents are slow, normally pick better up over night, americans log on then :P
