    Do you mean can you get contents insurance without buildings insurance, if that what you mean then yes.

    Not a student though. I am living with students and also its a rented house so don't really want to insure the house just my stuff.

    So what? Endsleigh do great insurance and I'm not sure you have to be a student to get it.

    That article has got some links to sweeper sites that will scan the house insurance companies for quotes for you.

    I got full buildings/contents/accidental cover + 2500 personal possesions away from home for £21 p/m with Norwich Union, shit hot!

    I would advise trying one of the sweeper services to find your best quote first :thumb:
