Need to make a few compilation CDs for a house-party

I dont think many of the guests would appreciate my current music selection so im looking for stuff to download thats not pop/house/dance and all that, but slightly alternative stuff that most people will be able to enjoy, and stuff that is catchy and happy

So far ive got kaiser chiefs, franz ferdinand, Arctic monkeys, Hard fi, Greenday, Feeder, the bravery, the killers, muse, offspring, queens of the stone age, stereophonics

Any suggestions appreciated, oh and please tell me the names of particular singles

Bit hard work for a house party, no? TCTC for when the atmosphere gets smoky maybe.

Always worth throwing in one or two Stones tracks:
Rolling Stones - Sympathy for the Devil
    " " - Jumpin' Jack Flash

Supergrass - Caught by the Fuzz
    The Strokes - Someday

im not some kind of retard but, if i had got what he meant in the first place i wouldnt of asked would i. I'd never heard of it and i was confused because what i now know is the song name actually has the name of another artist in it.
cant even not understand stuff around here any more

Some of Massive Attacks stuff, like Eurochild (off Protection), Inertia Creeps (off Mezzanine) and Daydreaming (off Blue Lines). Oops, didn't realise you said happy. They all have good beats though.

Maybe a bit of Royksopp (Eple, Poor Leno, What Else Is There?).
Bloc Party do some good stuff to dance to.
Rebellion and Neighborhood 3: Power Out by Arcade Fire
Electioneering and The Bends by Radiohead (but you can't buy them as seperate MP3's though).
Some of the tracks off Debut by Bjork - Big Time Sensuality, There's More To Life Than This.
Can't Stop, Give It Away and Otherside by the Chili Peppers
Don't Look Back Into the Sun, The Man Who Would Be King and Can't Stand Me Now by The Libertines
Tied Up Too Tight by Hard Fi
Bit of Fugees has to go down well
    California by Tupac
    Remember Me by The Zutons
Like A Rolling Stone by Bob Dylan
I Get Around by the Beach Boys
I Am The Resurrection and Made Of Stone by the Stone Roses
Whole Lotta Love by Led Zeppelin (everyone will recognise it off TOTP2)
And most importantly World In Motion by New Order will go down well this close to the world cup

I'd better stop now because I could go on forever.

Had to download World In Motion after that. It's going on my phone for the World Cup. You should get a few novelty songs too to put in the middle of everything. I just downloaded America, Fuck Yeah too.
